Tackle

15.1 WHERE CAN A TACKLE TAKE PLACE

A tackle can only take place in the field of play.

１　タックル

タックルはフィールドオブプレー内においてのみ起る。

15.2 WHEN A TACKLE CANNOT TAKE PLACE

When the ball-carrier is held by one opponent and a team-mate binds on to that ball-carrier, a maul has been formed and a tackle cannot take place.

２　タックルが発生しない場合

ボールキャリアーが相手側プレーヤーのひとりによって捕らえられ、味方のプレーヤーがそのボールキャリアーにバインドする場合、モールが形成されたことになり、タックルが発生したとはみなさない。

15.3 BROUGHT TO THE GROUND DEFINED

(a) If the ball-carrier has one knee or both knees on the ground, that player has been ‘brought to ground’.

(b) If the ball-carrier is sitting on the ground, or on top of another player on the ground the ball-carrier has been ‘brought to ground’.

３　「地面に倒される」ということの定義

（a）ボールキャリアーの片膝または両膝が地面につけば、そのプレーヤーは「地面に倒された」ものとみなす。

（b）ボールキャリアーが地面に腰を下すか、地上に横たわっているプレーヤーの上に倒れていれば、そのプレーヤーは「地面に倒された」ものとみなす。

15.4 LIFTING A BALL-CARRIER FROM THE GROUND

A ball-carrier who is lifted off the ground by an opponent is not tackled and play continues.

４　ボールキャリアーが相手により持ち上げられた場合

ボールキャリアーが相手側によって地面から持ち上げられても、タックルではないのでプレーをそのまま続ける。

15.5 THE TACKLER

(a) When a player tackles an opponent and they both go to ground, the tackler must immediately release the tackled player.

(b) The tackler must immediately get up or move away from the tackled player and from the ball at once.

(c) The tackler must get up before playing the ball.

５　タックラー

（a）プレーヤーが相手側プレーヤーをタックルして双方が地面に倒れたとき、タックラーは直ちにタックルされたプレーヤーを離さなければならない。

（b）さらにタックラーは直ちに立ち上がるか、タックルされたプレーヤーとボールから離れなければならない。

（c）タックラーはボールをプレーする前に立ち上がらなければならない。

15.6 THE TACKLED PLAYER

(a) A tackled player must not lie on, over, or near the ball to prevent opponents from gaining possession of it, and must try to make the ball available immediately so that play can continue.

(b) A tackled player must immediately pass the ball or release it. That player

must also get up or move away from it at once.

(c) A tackled player may release the ball by putting it on the ground in any direction, provided this is done immediately.

(d) A tackled player may release the ball by pushing it along the ground in any direction except forward, provided this is done immediately.

６　タックルされたプレーヤー

（a）タックルされたプレーヤーはプレーの継続のため、直ちにボールをプレーできるようにしなければならない。

（b）タックルされたプレーヤーは直ちにボールをパスするか、ボールを手放さなければならない。さらにそのプレーヤーは直ちに立ちあがるか、ボールから離れなければならない。

（c）タックルされたプレーヤーはボールをいずれかの方向に置くことによってボールを手放すことができる。ただし動作は直ちに行わなければならない。

（d）タックルされたプレーヤーは地面上でいずれかの方向にボールを押し進めること（前方にではなく）によってボールを手放すことができる。ただし動作は直ちに行わなければならない。

(e) If opposition players who are on their feet attempt to play the ball, the tackled player must release the ball.

(f) If a tackled player’s momentum carries the player into the in-goal, the player can score a try or make a touch down.

(g) If players are tackled near to the goal-line, these players may immediately reach out and ground the ball on or over the goal-line to score a try or make a touch down.

(h) The tackled player must not intentionally place the ball in touch. The tackled player must not intentionally push the ball into touch.

Penalty: Penalty Kick on the 15 metre line.

（e）立っている相手プレーヤーがボールをプレーしようとする場合、タックルされたプレーヤーはボールを放さなければならない。

（f）タックルされたプレーヤーが惰性でインゴールに入れば、そのプレーヤーはトライまたはタッチダウンをすることができる。

（g）プレーヤーがゴールライン付近でタックルされた場合、これらのプレーヤーは直ちに手を伸ばしボールをゴールライン上またはゴールラインを越えてグラウンディングし、トライまたはタッチダウンすることができる。

（h）タックルされたプレーヤーは、故意にボールをタッチに置いてはならない。タックルされたプレーヤーは、故意にボールをタッチに押し出してはならない。

15.7 OTHER PLAYERS

(a) After a tackle, all other players must be on their feet when they play the ball. Players are on their feet if no other part of their body is supported by the ground or players on the ground.

(b) After a tackle any players on their feet may attempt to gain possession by taking the ball from the ball-carriers possession.

(c) At a tackle or near to a tackle, other players who play the ball must do so from behind the ball and from directly behind the tackled player or the tackler closest to those players’ goal-line.

(d) Any player who gains possession of the ball at the tackle must play the ball immediately by moving away or passing or kicking the ball.

(e) Any player who first gains possession of the ball must not go to the ground at the tackle or near to it unless tackled by an opposition player.

(f) Any player who first gains possession of the ball at the tackle or near to it may be tackled by an opposition player providing that player does so from behind the ball and from directly behind the tackled player or the tackler closest to that player’s goal-line.

(g) After a tackle, any player lying on the ground must not prevent an opponent from getting possession of the ball.

(h) After a tackle, any player on the ground must not tackle an opponent or try to tackle an opponent

(i) When a tackled player reaches out to ground the ball on or over the goalline to score a try, an opponent may pull the ball from the players possession, but must not kick the ball.

Exception: Ball goes into the in-goal. After a tackle near the goal-line, if the ball has been released and has gone into the in-goal any player, including a player on the ground, may ground the ball.

７　その他のプレーヤー

（a）タックル後は、他のいずれのプレーヤーも立っていなければボールをプレーすることはできない。

立っているプレーヤーとは、地面、または地上に横たわっているプレーヤーにもたれかかっていないプレーヤーのことである。

（ｂ）タックル後は、立っているプレーヤーはいずれも、ボールキャリアからボールを奪おうとしてもよい。（理由：　明確化）

（c）タックルの地点、またはタックルに近接した地点で、ボールをプレーする他のプレーヤーは、ボールの後方、かつタックルされたプレーヤーまたはタックラーのどちらかで自陣ゴールラインに近い方のプレーヤーよりも後方から、プレーしなければならない。

（ｄ）タックルの地点でボールを獲得したプレーヤーは、直ちにボールをプレーして、ボールをいずれかの方向に手放す、パスする、あるいはキックしなければならない。

罰　フリーキック

（ｅ）最初にボールを獲得したプレーヤーは、相手プレーヤーにタックルされた場合を除き、タックルの地点、またはタックルに近接した地点で地面に倒れてはならない。

罰　ペナルティキック

（ｆ）タックルの地点、またはタックルに近接した地点で、最初にボールを獲得したプレーヤーは、相手プレーヤーがボールの後方、かつタックルされたプレーヤーまたはタックラーのどちらかで自陣ゴールラインに近い方のプレーヤーよりも後方から、プレーする限りは、その相手プレーヤーにタックルされることが有り得る。

罰　ペナルティキック

（ｇ）タックル後は、地上に横たわっているプレーヤーはいずれも相手側プレーヤーがボールを獲得しようとするのを妨げてはならない。

（ｈ）タックル後は、地上に横たわっているプレーヤーはいずれも相手側プレーヤーをタックルしたり、タックルしようとしてはならない。

★例外　ボールがインゴールに入った場合

ゴールライン近くでのタックル後、ボールが手放されインゴールに入った場合、地上に横たわっているプレーヤーを含め、プレーヤーはいずれもボールをグラウンディングすることができる。

（ｉ）タックル後

相手側プレーヤーは、ゴールライン上またはゴールラインを越えてボールをグラウンディングしようと手を伸ばしてトライしようとしているタックルされたプレーヤーからボールを奪ってもよい。ただし、相手側プレーヤーはボールをキックしてはならない。

15.8 FORBIDDEN PRACTICES

(a) No player may prevent the tackled player from passing the ball.

(b) No player may prevent the tackled player from releasing the ball and getting up or moving away from it.

Penalty: Penalty Kick

(c) No player may fall on or over the tackled player.

Penalty: Penalty Kick

No player may fall on or over a tackled player. X

(d) No player may fall on or over the players lying on the ground after a tackle with the ball between or near to them.

(e) Players on their feet must not charge or obstruct an opponent who is not near the ball.

(f) Danger may arise if a tackled player fails to release the ball or move away from it immediately, or if that player is prevented from so doing. If either of these happens the referee awards a penalty kick immediately.

８　行ってはならないプレー

（a） いずれのプレーヤーもタックルされたプレーヤーがボールをパスすることを妨げてはならない。

（b） いずれのプレーヤーもタックルされたプレーヤーがボールを手放し、立ち上がったり、ボールから離れることを妨げてはならない。

（c） いずれのプレーヤーもタックルされたプレーヤーの上に、または越えて倒れ込んではならない。

（d） いずれのプレーヤーもボールをはさんで、またはボールに近接して地上に横たわっている２人以上のプレーヤーの上に、または越えて倒れ込んではならない。

（e）立っているプレーヤーは、ボールに近接していない相手側プレーヤーをチャージまたは妨害してはならない。

罰　ペナルティキック

（f）危険性（ボールをパスするか、手放さない場合）タックルされたプレーヤーが直ちにボールを手放さないか、もしくはボールから転退しないか、またはこのようにすることを妨げられた場合には危険が予想できる。このような場合、レフリーは直ちに罰を科さなければならない。

15.9 DOUBT ABOUT FAILURE TO COMPLY

If the ball becomes unplayable at a tackle and there is doubt about which player did not conform to Law, the referee orders a scrum immediately with the throw-in by the team that was moving forward prior to the stoppage or, if no team was moving forward, by the attacking team.

９　どちら側の責任か疑わしい場合

タックルで、ボールがアンプレアブルになり、どちらの側が競技規則に従わなかったのか疑わしい場合、レフリーは直ちにスクラムを命じ、停止の前に前進していた側がボールを入れる。どちらも前進していなかった場合は攻撃側がボールを入れる。
